Croix de Bezard Picpoul de Pinet

Selected from older vines (over 25 years old) in prime vineyard locations around the Bassin de Thau, the grapes are harvested at night at perfect maturity and softly pressed to steel to preserve the fresh fruit character and delicate aromatics. A lovely pithy citrus hit melts into a mandarin rind and pear freshness on the nose. The palate is light and easy but with a gentle phenolic grip that takes it up a notch. Juicy lemony fruits coat the tongue followed by a touch of white pepper, iodine and ocean spray on the finish.
