Scala Ciro Rosso DOCG

This organic Calabrian red from Cantina Scala, made entirely from Gaglioppo grapes, exhibits a medium ruby color. It reveals aromas of bright red fruits like cherry, plum, and blackberry, intertwined with dried violets, wood spice, Mediterranean herbs, and subtle smoky or salty notes. On the palate, it's concentrated and rustic yet charming, with flavors of sour cherry, raspberry, cranberry, and exotic spices, balanced by firm, ripe tannins, good acidity, and a fresh, persistent finish.
